(Here are some common problems we hear gun owners complaining about, along with our custom made, hand-crafted Elk Castle Solutions, tailored to fit your needs.
1.You, John Q. Customer, haven’t figured out which holster best fits your need to carry your new Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum comfortably around your ankle. We understand. Actually we don’t, but we’ll still make it happen for you. We’ve got a ton of holsters from five manufacturers, and frequently order special application rigs for certain needs….such as carrying a 6-pound revolver on your ankle
2.For those of you that are in a fog over what scope best suits your new rifle, we can point you in the right direction and give you some salty (but educated) opinions. If we wouldn’t use it ourselves, we won’t recommend it. We make it a point to be conscious of your budget, so we won’t sell you something you don’t need, and at the same time we’ll help you avoid the embarrassment of outfitting a long-range varmint rifle with a tiny holographic sight designed for close quarter battle. Yeah. We actually do see stuff like that with startling regularity.
3.Another common malady we see is gun owners in a quandary over how to best clean and store their guns, so we went out and bought the best cleaning supplies and gun cases we could find. Since we stock all the same products we use ourselves, we can send them home with you and still sleep well at night. If you want to see a grown man cry, tell us you put WD-40 in the action of your rifle.
4.Lots of people buy their dream pistol, only to get home and discover that the gun’s grip fits their hand like a size 4 dress on Rosie O’Donnell. The latter problem is painfully irreversible and actually kind of gross, but we do have aftermarket grips for most handguns, and we’ll order what we don’t. Really. And we apologize for the mental image.
We also carry accessories to accessorize your accessories – scope covers, slings and swivels, bipods, rings and bases, clips and magazines, hearing and eye protection, choke tubes and wrenches, and, at one point, the correct magazine for a 1910 Frommer pistol, obsolete since the 1920’s.
(We miraculously sold this item, undoubtedly to some eclectic individual with a profound sense of humor, and have since managed to avoid ordering another one.)
